Singing Honeyeater

Lichenostomus virescens
This medium sized honeyeater could always be found near the gazebo and, since the revegetation, it has spread its range to the west and north of the lake. They breed at the lake, building their nests in dense bushes.
This honeyeater feeds on insects, seed and nectar.
Their melodious song can usually be heard at dawn; but they will also call during the day.
