Job Description

With over 30 years in gender education combined, Co‑Founders Mac Scotty McGregor and Drew Griffin started Positive Masculinity for heart‑led masculine folks who want to create a transformative path for masculinity in our world. Our ultimate goal is to thrive on being our best possible selves. Therefore, we offer private groups and workshops that provide a safe space to address how societal expectations and conditioning have affected us; as we strive to create a masculine model that is healthy and mutually supportive. YOU WILL:

Create and maintain a positive image of Positive Masculinity to the public through social media platforms. Help the marketing team tell compelling brand stories. Assist the Positive Masculinity’s founder and CEO in note‑taking, organizing, and scheduling upcoming public events. Organize active calendars, book meetings, annotate meetings and assign special projects to teams upon request. Update, organize, answer, and maintain email list and storage drive. Occasionally represent the company through public meetings, seminars, podcast, and online webinars. Handle email responses and attend video conferences on behalf of the CEO. Maintain the confidentiality of information data at all times and adhere to Positive Masculinity’s policies and procedures.

YOU ARE:

Confident, driven, ambitious, determined, resilient, and consistent. Adaptable to changes in projects and priorities and can handle multiple projects. Excellent in verbal and written communication, email etiquette, the Internet, and proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Drive. Self‑motivated, reliable, detail‑oriented, and organized. Able to work independently with minimum supervision and attend video conferencing meetings whenever needed. Able to collaborate with others. Enthusiastic and grateful to have the opportunity to work with us!

YOU WILL BENEFIT BY:

Attaining high‑level skills and experience that will help you increase your earning potential, reach your career goals, and find more rewarding jobs. Receiving mentoring on your LinkedIn Profile (and thus, your resume), interviewing skills, professional goals, and how to manage your career. Participating in collaboration sessions with our hilarious creative teammates and team leadership. Being exposed to the behind‑the‑scenes of a one‑of‑a‑kind start‑up company. Gaining access to a variety of training materials on sales, marketing, program management, and other topics, worth thousands of dollars. Receiving a top‑notch letter of recommendation and referrals from our Employment Verification team upon the successful completion of your 200‑hour internship. In addition, we will gladly help you arrange for academic credit if needed.

LOCATION:

This is a virtual/remote opportunity which means you don’t have to deal with traffic or sitting in a stuffy office! You can work in a comfortable environment that provides a reliable and secure internet connection so that you can attend meetings and video conferences.

VIDEO CONFERENCING:

As a virtual company, we use video conferencing application(s) as our primary form of communication. You will be required to have video conferencing program(s) on your laptop or desktop so that you can fully participate in meetings and training sessions. Our team meetings, one‑on‑one meetings, and training sessions often require team members to turn on their video cameras, share their screens and interact with other team members.

NOTE:

Your cell phone should not be your main source of working on assignments or attending meetings.

TIMING:

Immediately! Our internships are 200 hours. Each intern is required to work 10 hours a week. If you work the minimum hours (10 hours per week), it will take you 20 weeks to complete your internship.

COMPENSATION:

This is an unpaid virtual internship, but the experience and connections you will get for your professional portfolio and LinkedIn profile are priceless! #J-18808-Ljbffr Positive Masculinity Now
