HR Internship - Nonprofit Organization
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources while making a difference in the community? A well-respected nonprofit organization in White Plains, NY, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our HR team.
Key Responsibilities:Assist with recruiting efforts, including screening resumes and scheduling interviews
Support onboarding and orientation for new hires
Maintain and organize employee records and HR files
Assist in benefits administration and employee engagement initiatives
Help coordinate training sessions and HR events
Perform administrative tasks related to HR compliance and policies
Participate in special HR projects as needed
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Prior internship or administrative experience is a plus but not required
Location: White Plains, NY (Hybrid or On-Site)
Hours: Flexible; ideally 15-20 hours per week
Compensation: Unpaid or stipend-based (depending on program structure)
