Experienced Swimming Pool Repair Mechanic. You are able to repair and install all Pool pumps, motors, and heaters as well as troubleshooting Swimming Pool equipment problems. Be familiar with Automation or be willing to learn. We are a growing Pool Service Company in Central Florida. Excellent Salary, Bonus, and Commissions DOE. We have a 401.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:

• To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of swimming pool equipment; i.e. motors, filters, pumps, lights, filters, etc.
• Occasional pool cleaning and chemical maintenance are required.
• Daily workload varies with the season, usually between 5 to 10 work orders per day.
• Customer service of the job assigned is the #1 responsibility!!
• Daily care and cleaning of vehicles.
• Monitor and control individual inventory.
• Complete paperwork relevant to repairs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:

• The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
• This position requires the associate to have a high degree of stamina for physical labor, with the ability to work in high degrees of heat and adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively and often.
• The associate must be able to stand, bend, stoop, stretch, and climb repetitively and often. The associate must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have the ability to work around chlorine without an allergic reaction.

• Provide outstanding communication and customer service to a diverse group of clients and a good problem-solver
• Candidate must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED required

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Plumbing, electrical and mechanical experience preferred.
• Experience and expertise in installing and troubleshooting gas pool heaters are a plus.
• This position requires a mechanically-inclined individual who is willing to work in adverse weather conditions.
• The position requires the work to be completed quickly and accurately and to the customer’s satisfaction. Excellent customer service skills are required.
• A clean driving record is mandatory.
• Minimum 3-5 Years Experience
