Join New Story Schools, a leading special education provider dedicated to making a lasting impact on students’ lives. We serve children and young adults ages 5-22 in grades K-12 across multiple locations in Pennsylvania, partnering with families and school districts to create a safe and empowering space for growth and development. Our schools offer small class sizes, individualized education plans, and a supportive environment where students are empowered to succeed academically and socially.

  • Professional Development – Advance your career with tuition reimbursement, mentorship programs, leadership training, and pathways to grow into teaching or behavioral health roles.
  • Supportive Team – Collaborate with educators, specialists, and therapists in a positive, inclusive environment with annual awards, Teammate Appreciation Week, and team-building events.
  • Make an Impact – Help students with special needs build life skills, confidence, and independence in a supportive school environment.

Your Role as a Special Education Supervisor:

  • Ensure Compliance & Maintain Records – Follow Department of Education regulations, company policies, and FERPA. Participate in the IEP process, complete documentation, ensure confidentiality, and follow safety protocols including PPE use.

  • Develop & Support Instructional Plans – Create individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals, review lessons for consistency, and observe classrooms to evaluate curriculum, staff, and resource needs.

  • Manage Behavior & Foster Safe Environments – Implement effective behavior management strategies, apply non-violent crisis intervention techniques, and train staff to maintain a safe, productive classroom setting.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders – Engage with Special Education Directors, parents, IEP team members, and school districts to enhance student support. Participate in team, district, and multidisciplinary meetings.

  • Train Staff & Assess Students – Conduct staff training based on assessed needs, administer educational assessments per protocol, and observe students in home districts for enrollment or transition planning.

Required Qualifications:
