Responsibilities Serve guests and promote store sales Consistently attain sales and performance standards, Special Event and Store promotion results Promote an environment of total guest satisfaction by making the guest’s shopping and jewelry needs the first priority Provide an exceptional Guest experience by aligning with the Guest’s agenda and following up using the Clienteling system Monitor guest flow and assist with pairing the appropriate Team Member with the Guest Supervise bridal merchandise and train all Team Members on bridal merchandise Oversee bridal merchandise implementation and administration, including sales performance, promotions, launches, visual display, and merchandising; maintain knowledge of other merchandise categories Develop and maintain complete knowledge of bridal merchandise to train Team Members on features, benefits, quality, value, warranties, services and procedures Act as primary contact with vendor partners and ensure successful completion of vendor trainings, eLearnings and incentive submissions Collaborate with Management Team to evaluate opportunities and develop training plans to improve merchandise sales, standards performance and Guest experience Collaborate with the General Manager on recruiting, hiring, scheduling, performance appraisals and related information Communicate relevant Team Member information to the General Manager, including personnel and security concerns, and merchandising needs Respond to Guest complaints and issues promptly and courteously, in partnership with the General Manager Assist management in their absence Act in a manner aligned with Signet’s Core Values and respect Guests and Team Members Maintain regular attendance as an essential function of the job Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including Loss Prevention, Sales and Credit policies; maintain security awareness in selling procedures Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Meet or exceed three of the five performance standards, with Sales one of the three No Code of Conduct written counseling within the past six months DCA certified Minimum six months with the company or equivalent experience Completion of Minimum Training Requirements training module (Found on Signet Learning Portal) and passing the Minimum Training Requirements Quiz Required Skills And Abilities Ability to lead by example and meet daily performance standards, Special Event goals and store promotions Positive, enthusiastic, team-spirited work style; align with Signet’s Core Values Analytical thinking and reasoning Ability to train and develop Team Members; conduct store training meetings as needed Professional image and approach Tactful, friendly manner with customers and colleagues Ability to plan, organize, follow-up and supervise the work of others Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including phone etiquette Ability to take responsibility, make decisions, delegate and follow up Reliable and dependable Ability to operate all sales-related equipment Physical Demands Must be able to stand for long periods, reach with hands and arms, move among display cases, handle and feel merchandise, sit, stoop, kneel and crouch; lift and move up to 10 pounds; see well enough to discern differences in quality of merchandise.
