Preschool/Infant facility in Chatsworth is looking for full time teacher. Our stimulating and engaging staff members provide quality care to each child. Qualified candidates will assist in the following:

• Plans and implements educational curriculum for infants, toddlers and preschool children, which reflects developmental, cultural, and linguistic appropriateness.
• Records observations, shares information about the child with his/her parent(s) and/or staff and plans with them on how best to meet the child’s needs.
• Cultivate positive relationships with other staff, children, and parents.
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Potty train children if needed.
• Be able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 70lbs.

Qualifications: .

• Must have completed 12 semester units of Early Childhood Development education and have experience working with infants or toddlers.
• Should be able to work full time.
• Pass Live Scan fingerprinting background check; Proof of TB Test.
• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• At least 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare setting
• At least 1 year experience Potty training in a licensed childcare setting
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to work with 12 children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
