Overview Join to apply for the General Manager of Hotel role at VP MANAGEMENT LLC . The general manager of a hotel property is in charge of all daily hotel operations to guarantee that guests enjoy an outstanding experience. They are responsible for all hotel services, such as guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, revenue management, expense management, team building, and employee development. This position requires a flexible and dynamic problem solver with exceptional leadership abilities who can empower their staff to deliver superior customer service to hotel guests, associates, and visitors. They act as brand ambassadors, providing leadership and strategic direction to all departments of the hotel. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee the operations of the hotel. Hold regular briefings and meetings with all head of departments. Ensure full compliance to hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards. Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customer service and refurbishment. Handle complaints, and oversee the service recovery procedures. Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan and Capital Budget. Manage ongoing profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded. Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotel. Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long term strategic goals for the property. Develop improvement actions and implement cost-saving measures.
