Requirements:

• • Interpret engineering blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
  • Cut, shape, and fit raw materials (steel, aluminum, etc.) using saws, torches, grinders, and jigs.
  • Perform welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) on structural and mechanical parts.
  • Prepare and tack weldments, inspect welds, and rework as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Assemble sub-assemblies and final assemblies; install mechanical components like shafts, brackets, and frames.
  • Operate shop equipment (cranes, forklifts, band saws) safely and maintain tools and welding machines.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to optimize fabrication processes and suggest improvements.
  • Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean workspace, and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven fabrication and welding experience, including MIG, TIG, and/or Stick.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Strong understanding of welding quality inspection.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and strong attention to detail.
