**Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (RN - L&D)**

**Shift:** 12-Hour Night Shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients through a variety of essential nursing responsibilities during the night shift.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Assess and monitor the health status of patients and newborns in the delivery room and operating room.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain proficiency and current certifications including NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and Advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring.
- Participate in ongoing education and training through biweekly orientation sessions and continuous professional development.
- Adhere to facility protocols and guidelines to ensure patient safety and quality care.

**Requirements:**
- Must possess current NRP, BLS, ACLS, and Advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring certifications.
- Experience in assessing and caring for newborns during delivery and immediate post-delivery.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable transportation, as public transportation may not be accessible.

**Additional Information:**
- Schedule requests will be approved at the manager’s discretion.
