• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)\n
• Unit: ICU and CVICU (float between units)\n
• Start Date: December 1, 2025\n
• End Date: February 28, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Hours: 36 hours per week\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend, rotating holidays, unpaid lunch\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2100–$2250\n

\n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• At least 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience required\n
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing\n
• Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts\n
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification\n
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification\n
• Completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams (or willingness to complete upon hire)\n
• Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking)\n
• Preferred: BSN, CCRN, TCAR, de-escalation certification, and experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator care, and intracranial pressure monitoring\n

\n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation\n
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses in a critical care setting\n
• Guide and direct patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary healthcare staff\n
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation\n
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments (physical, psychological, social)\n
• Develop and communicate care plans with allied healthcare providers\n
• Utilize computerized nursing informatics systems proficiently\n
• Serve as a resource for patient care, orientation, and staff education\n
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols\n
• Participate in quality improvement and professional development initiatives\n
• Represent the hospital positively within the Hyannis community and maintain patient confidentiality\n
• Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing supervisors\n
