• Location: Chicago, IL 60622 (Illinois healthcare jobs)\n
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Travel nurse contract)\n
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with float to Telemetry as needed\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse\n
• Start Date: September 29, 2025\n
• End Date: December 28, 2025\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470–$1570\n

\n\nICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active and unencumbered RN license in Illinois\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience in an acute care hospital\n
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred\n
• COVID-19 vaccination and boosters preferred\n
• Ability to float between ICU and Telemetry units as needed\n

\n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation\n
• Provide direct clinical care to critically ill patients within the scope of RN practice\n
• Educate patients and families, and supervise other nursing staff\n
• Maintain high standards of care in both ICU and Telemetry settings\n
• Communicate effectively with physicians and the healthcare team regarding patient status, hemodynamic monitoring, and diagnostic results\n
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and treatment needs\n
• Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality at all times\n
