Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (17:00 - 05:30)

Requirements:

2 year(s) of exp.
RN Active License.

ACLS, BLS Required.

Cerner preferred.

 

Description:

First Time Travelers Accepted
Shift Requirements: 3x12s
Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend every 3 weeks
Float Required: May be asked to float to MS if needed

Skillset Requirements: Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, Accessing ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Procedural Sedation Admin, Titrate Cardiac Drips. Titrate Vasoactive drips, Assist w/ management of BiPAP and CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, HFNC, Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning, Ventilator Management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds w drains/Wound Vac

Minimum Experience Required: 2 Years
Staffing Ratios: 1:2

Unit Information: Sepsis, DKA, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Arterial fibrillation, NSTEMI - without intervention, Acute mental status changes, Hypertensive Emergencies.
