Job Title: Travel Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Location: Valley View Medical Center, Fort Mohave, AZ Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Assignment Type: Travel Contract

Position Overview: Valley View Medical Center is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician for a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens including blood, urine, and tissue samples
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes, analyzers, and centrifuges
• Perform quality control procedures and ensure accurate test results
• Document and report laboratory findings in a timely manner
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of reagents and supplies

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
• Current MLT certification (ASCP or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
