Pathway Caring for Children, a nonprofit agency serving children and families through foster care, adoption, and counseling, is seeking Master's-level students in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy for for-credit internships. This is a valuable opportunity to gain supervised, hands-on experience in mental health and family services while working alongside licensed clinicians.
Interns receive weekly supervision from licensed clinicians who meet university and state licensing board requirements for MSW, Counseling, and MFT programs, including LISW-S, LPCC-S, and IMFT-S supervisors.
Responsibilities
Participate in orientation, training, and supervision with experienced clinicians
Shadow and co-facilitate therapy or group sessions
Learn case documentation and intake procedures
Support program development and community initiatives
Provide supervised client sessions as approved by the clinical supervisor
Attend program meetings and case reviews
Qualifications
Enrolled in a Master's program in Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental-health field
Internship must be for academic credit through your university
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable, professional, and committed to confidentiality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Background check required before placement
