About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support across various practice areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing a wide range of commercial contracts, including sponsorship agreements, NDAs, and software licenses. Additionally, the role involves maintaining legal document management systems, conducting legal research, and developing expertise in areas such as sweepstakes and promotions. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also assist with intellectual property matters, advise on employment law issues, and collaborate with internal partners on sales initiatives. Applicants must have a Juris Doctorate degree, be licensed to practice in the U.S., and have a minimum of 6 years' corporate/transactional legal experience. Essential qualifications include a strong background in contract law, high ethical standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Experience in corporate sports and entertainment, data privacy, and software licensing is preferred. The role requires a professional with a proactive approach to learning, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The position may involve travel and demands a candidate who can handle the physical and dynamic environment of a sports arena.
