Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Social Worker is needed to provide behavioral support services within a K-12 school environment. This contract position focuses on supporting students through behavioral programs designed to improve emotional well-being and academic success. The role involves collaboration with educators, families, and external agencies to address students' social and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students behavioral and social-emotional challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student behaviors.
• Facilitate communication among school staff, students, and community resources.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services provided and progress made.
• Participate in meetings related to student support and behavior management programs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school or educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention techniques and mental health resources.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Location:

• The position is based in Corvallis, OR, serving K-12 students within the school district.

Contract Details:

• Start Date: August 22, 2025
• End Date: June 10, 2026
• 190-day contract encompassing the full school year.
