Job Description

Madruga Works , the creators of  Planetbase and  Dawn of Man , are looking for an  experienced animator to create rigs and animations for the characters, vehicles, and robots from our upcoming title  Planetbase 2 .

This is a  remote freelance position .

Responsibilities:

• Creation of rigs, skinning, and animation cycles for humans, vehicles, and robots for the game.

Requirements:

• Experience working in games: able to create efficient bone setups and rigs for humans, vehicles, and robots.
• Strong knowledge of character kinematics, deformations, and topology.
• Strong knowledge of character skinning and the involved technical workflows.
• Ability to create professional-quality animation cycles.
• Proficiency in Unity (at least to export the animations and test them in-game).
• Proficiency in Blender.
• Organized and consistent with naming conventions.
• Familiarity with version control (SVN).

Extra Points:

• Experience creating animations for city builder or strategy games.
• Availability in GMT ± 3 hours.
