Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Coordinates staff and workload to accomplish examinations ordered during a 24 hour / 7 day week operation to maximize productivity. Is involved with performance evaluations, counseling, and performance improvement. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department.
Responsible for various budgetary reports, ordering supplies, quality control, quality assurance and staff education. Communicates with physicians, management and supervisors of all sub-sections in the Imaging Department and throughout the hospital. Must have technical knowledge of all radiographic procedures and equipment. Leadership skills are critical for setting and demonstrate standards of performance.
