Chef Sadye is seeking a talented and reliable Personal Chef to prepare customized meals for individual clients and assist with occasional events. This role is ideal for chefs who take pride in preparing more than just food by creating convenience, nourishment, and memorable dining moments for every client.

As part of Sadye Gourmet, you’ll focus primarily on weekly meal prep services designed to simplify clients’ lives, while also supporting intimate gatherings and select in-home dining experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to use your culinary expertise in a flexible contractor role where creativity, professionalism, and hospitality shine.

Key Responsibilities

• Shop for ingredients and travel to client homes for meal prep and cooking.
• Prepare and cook meals from Sadye Gourmet’s menus, focusing on weekly meal prep.
• Ensure meals are fresh, flavorful, properly portioned, and labeled for storage.
• Maintain clean, organized, and hygienic work areas.
• Build strong client relationships through professionalism and communication.
• Assist the lead chef with occasional events and private dining experiences.

Requirements * required for all contractors

• Reliable transportation to client homes and events.
• Current Food Handler’s Card (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Proof of liability insurance.
• Proven experience as a personal chef and/or private chef, or in professional kitchens.
• Strong knowledge of allergies, dietary restrictions, and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to client kitchens.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary degree or formal culinary training.
• Experience with individual meal prep clients and in-home services.
• Event catering experience.

Compensation & Schedule

• Independent contractor (1099) role.
• Part-time and full-time opportunities available.
• Flexible scheduling to support recurring weekly meal prep clients, occasional events, and client assignments based on availability.
