Personal / Administrative Assistant

Location: Westlake Hills / South Austin, TX | Pay: ~$25/hr + Monthly Stipends | Type: Part-Time, Salaried (Approx. 2530 hrs/week)

Support a Grounded, Creative Household & Business

Benchmark, a high-end custom cabinetry company in Westlake Hills, is owned and operated by a husband-and-wife team whove been married for 17 years and live nearby in South Austin with their two dogs. As both their home and business lives stay full, theyre seeking a warm, proactive, and highly organized Personal / Administrative Assistant to help keep things flowing smoothly.

This is a unique, relationship-driven role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is reliable and attentive, and thrives in both home and office settings. Youll play a key role in supporting both their day-to-day household and business operations from walking dogs and running errands to managing inboxes and vendor coordination.

What Youll Be Doing -

Home Support:

  • Daily dog care (walks, enrichment, feeding) must be available for AM care when owners are away
  • Light housekeeping: dishes, tidying, laundry, vacuuming (23x/week)
  • Grocery shopping and light meal prep (2x/week) includes dog treats
  • Running errands, coordinating household vendors, booking appointments
  • Vet scheduling and transport
  • Occasional travel and research coordination
  • Optional: Overnight dog sitting (additional pay offered)

Business Administrative Support:

  • Managing general business inbox and basic email communication
  • Submitting support tickets and ordering office supplies
  • Organizing digital files and physical paperwork
  • Requesting and managing certificates of insurance (COIs)
  • Assisting project managers and design team with admin tasks as needed

Schedule & Hours:

  • MondayFriday with flexible hours
  • Core home hours in the afternoon ; some remote work allowed
  • Estimated:
  • ~20 hours/week in recurring daily tasks
  • ~57 hours/week in errands, prep, or one-off tasks
  • Generally 2530 hours/week (some days lighter, others more involved)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $25/hr average pay (~$3,000/month) based on experience
  • Monthly stipends totaling $550$600:
  • $300/month health & wellness
  • $250$300/month vehicle maintenance
  • Salaried part-time role (not hourly)
  • PTO included
