We are seeking a skilled Mold Maker to join our team. Responsibilities will include designing, fabricating, repairing and maintaining molds used in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have years of experience in mold making and machining, tooling and blueprint reading. 

Responsibilities: 

• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models
• Operate and set up various machine equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM machines
• Preparing and assembling materials to create the mold
• Using measurement tools with precision and accuracy (micrometers, indicators, comparators)
• Testing molds to ensure they meet the specified quality and functionality standards
• Performing maintenance on molds and mold-making equipment
• Inspect finished molds for accuracy and make necessary adjustments
• Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering their skill development and knowledge sharing
• Adhering to all safety regulations and maintaining a clean work environment

Qualifications: 

• 10-15 years of proven experience in mold making
• Strong understanding of mold design, materials and fabrication techniques
• Proficiency in operating manual, CNC and EDM machining equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Hours

Monday - Friday

7:00am - 3:30pm
