Job Title: Welding Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welding Technician to join our team for the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM) or 3rd shift (11 PM - 7 AM) in Minerva, OH. The ideal candidate will perform welding and rigging of equipment, read blueprints, and fabricate new or replacement parts to facilitate repairs. Responsibilities also include maintaining, repairing, modifying, removing, and relocating all equipment, stationary and mobile, in our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and rigging of equipment daily.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Fabricate new or replacement parts as required.
• Maintain, repair, modify, remove, and relocate all equipment in the manufacturing facility.
• Utilize hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Repair machine parts using lathe, milling machine, manual machine, drill press, band saw, grinders, and presses.
• Perform preventive maintenance and clean-up duties.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical repair and rigging experience.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and fabrication.
• Skill in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
• Blueprint reading expertise.
• Experience as a maintenance technician with preventive maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, mechanical assembly, electrical, and industrial maintenance.
• Millwright skillset.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with machine repair or maintenance.
• Machine building expertise.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and diagnostic tools.
• Experience using mills, lathes, and presses.

The pay range for this position is $69389.00 - $69389.00/yr.
