We are looking for an energetic and experienced Maintenance Technician A - Licensed Electrician to join our new state-of-the-art Injection molding plant! Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the selected candidate will be responsible for machinery and facility maintenance activities, while enhancing safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping, and cost control to achieve plant goals. Principal Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all plant equipment and diagnosing operational problems in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical phases; reading and modifying mechanical blueprints, sketches, electrical schematic diagrams and performing root cause analysis for plant equipment; using fabrication, millwright, and mechanical hand tools safely and accurately; following all policies, procedures and work practices as outlined by HR Best Practices – USA, the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and EH&S programs; and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include minimum 18 years of age, completion of high school education or equivalent, 10 or more years experience with Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Piping, and Welding, holding a valid Electrical Certification, basic PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting, ability to read, write and do advanced mathematics, licensed to operate forklift truck, pallet truck and other material handling equipment, understanding of procedures and instructions as required by ANSI/ASQC A9002, and possession of adequate fabrication/millwright/mechanical hand tools. Working conditions require a high degree of mobility, routine walking, standing for long periods, reaching, twisting, bending, climbing, lifting 50-75 lbs, exposure to heat or cold, dust, noise levels and use of sharp tools.
