Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Behavioral Health / Mental Health / Substance Abuse Location: Philadelphia, PA
Job Type: Part-Time | Overnight | Weekends
Schedule Options:
Saturday Overnight: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Sunday Overnight: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Candidates may choose to work only Saturday , only Sunday , or both nights each weekend

Job SummaryWe are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our weekend overnight nursing team . This part-time position is perfect for nurses looking for consistent overnight hours with the flexibility to work Saturday nights, Sunday nights, or both .
The LPN will provide direct care to individuals with behavioral health and substance use needs in an inpatient setting, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and safety.
ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care during overnight shifts in a behavioral health setting
Administer and monitor medications and patient responses
Document patient care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Assist in crisis situations and apply de-escalation techniques
Supervise Mental Health Workers and support overall unit operations
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other care team members
Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment in line with hospital policies
Education & Licensure
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
Current LPN license in Pennsylvania (Required)
Experience
1+ year of LPN experience preferred
Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, or substance use treatment preferred
Familiarity with trauma-informed care and dual diagnosis is a plus
Certifications
Current CPR certification (Required)
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) preferred
Skills & Abilities
Excellent clinical observation, documentation, and communication skills
Calm, dependable, and team-oriented under pressure
Proficient in EHR systems and overnight care protocols

Sunday Overnight: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
