MedCadre is seeking a local contract nurse RN Home Health Level II for a local contract nursing job in Bronx, New York.

Job Type: Contract 13 weeks (with high possibility of extension)

Schedule:
• 5x8-hour shifts weekly (Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Every other weekend (EOW) coverage required
• Flexible weekday schedule (e.g., Sunday–Wednesday, Thursday–Saturday), but days must remain consistent

Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide in-home care to adult patients across the Bronx borough. The RN will manage a caseload of 5–8 patients daily, delivering skilled nursing care directly in patient homes. This position requires clinical flexibility, self-direction, and a passion for community-based care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct skilled nursing care in patients’ homes across the Bronx
• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient health status and care needs
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams to implement and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Accurately document all patient interactions, observations, and interventions
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Travel daily within the borough to complete scheduled patient visits

Required Qualifications:
• Active New York State RN License
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (Med-Surg, Critical Care, Maternal)
• At least 1 year of current adult home health experience
• Strong clinical assessment and time management skills
• Willingness to travel throughout the Bronx and work a consistent schedule (no overnight shifts)
• Comfortable managing 5–8 cases per day independently
