Our company is searching for an experienced Level A- Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic .

Summary

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be essential in maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. The position will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing simple to complex mechanical issues. We expect you to bring a strong background in mechanic experience, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our fleet. 

Desired Qualifications:

• Must have own tools
• Minimum of 3 yrs of related experience or combination of training and experience.
• Experienced on Class A and B gas & diesel trucks, such as pickups, dump trucks, water trucks, and On-Rd tractors.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and communicate in English.
• Knowledgeable on brakes and diagnosing ABS problems, electrical issues, wheel seals and bearings, water pumps, fan clutch, small engines, and hydraulics.
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.

Requirements:

• A valid NC driver's license. Able to pass a drug test.
• Viable transportation to get to and from work.
• .Ability to work a 6-day work week. Monday thru Friday 6:30-5:00 & Saturday 6:30-12:00.
• Physically able to SAFELY enter and exit small and large machines.
• Strictly adhere to OSHA guidelines as well as company safety policies.
• Ability to lift and/or move 50 pounds.

Benefits:

• $28.00 to $37.00 hourly rate
