Full Stack Developer

📍 Hybrid – Atlanta, GA

Role Overview:

Are you a skilled problem-solver with a passion for both front-end and back-end development? As a Full Stack Developer at Block+Tackle, you will be integral to creating and maintaining dynamic web applications that enhance our digital marketing efforts. You will collaborate with our design and marketing teams to build seamless user experiences and robust back-end systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full Stack Development: Architect, develop, and optimize scalable web applications, ensuring seamless integration between user interfaces and robust back-end systems.
  • Front-End Development: Develop responsive, intuitive, and visually engaging user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern libraries and frameworks such as Reactjs and Nextjs. Ensure seamless user experience through performance optimization and accessibility best practices.
  • Back-End Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable server-side logic, APIs, and database systems using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Django, Ruby, or PHP. Optimize performance, security, and data integrity to support seamless application functionality.
  • Database Management: Design and optimize relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Integration: Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of applications across various devices and browsers.
  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve skills and apply new knowledge to projects.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or completion of a coding bootcamp with demonstrated proficiency.

Experience : 2-4 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role, or equivalent hands-on experience through projects, internships, or bootcamp training.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and front-end frameworks.
  • Strong experience with back-end technologies and server-side languages.
  • Solid understanding of database design and management.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
