Salary: $18-22 per hour, DOE

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all buildings and equipment are maintained in safe, functional, and efficient working condition. The Facility Maintenance Technician will perform facility upkeep including: daily janitorial tasks, landscaping, and provide support for a wide variety of facility needs to ensure the smooth operation of our workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance: Ensuring offices, kitchens, restrooms and general building cleanliness
  
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all facilities are compliant with local building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards. Maintain an environment that promotes safety for employees and visitors.
  
• Building Upkeep: Assist with routine cleaning and upkeep of common areas, restrooms, and exterior grounds, ensuring a clean and professional environment.
• Special Projects: Support facility-related special projects, such as renovations or expansions, by providing technical expertise or hands-on assistance.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and work orders, in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in facilities management, building maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience (1-3 years) in facility maintenance, building systems, or a related technical field.
  
• Basic tool & landscaping equipment knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and building code compliance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various physical conditions.
• Must be able to work on-call or flexible hours as required.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, Monday-Friday
• Occasional on-call shifts, evening, or weekend work may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
