As a Junior IT Business Analyst, your primary purpose is to collaborate with and support seasoned business analysts in translating business needs into effective technology solutions. You will play a vital role in contributing to the documentation of requirements, participating in product design discovery, and assisting in the development of reliable and cost-effective solutions. LOCATION
• Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required.
• Works with IT and the business to identify opportunities for systematic or process improvements to reduce process inefficiencies and improve service levels.
• Supporting Requirements Gathering:
o Collaborate with and assist senior business analysts in gathering and documenting business needs and objectives.
o Participate in interviews, surveys, and workshops to collect information from end-users and subject matter experts.
• Documentation Assistance:
o Work with senior analysts to translate business requirements into clear and concise documentation.
o Contribute to the creation of user stories, use cases, and process flows to effectively communicate requirements.
• Collaborative Product Design:
o Support senior analysts in product design discovery sessions with Product Owners and users.
o Assist in translating business requirements into valuable offerings that align with project goals.
• Solution Development Support:
o Work alongside the team to leverage existing, new, or emerging technologies for developing cost-effective solutions.
o Contribute to the design process, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and address challenges effectively.
• Team Collaboration:
o Collaborate closely with existing business analysts, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
o Engage in effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Learning and Development:
o Actively seek opportunities to learn from experienced professionals.
o Demonstrate eagerness to enhance skills and understanding of business processes and technology concepts.
REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience with IT business support.
• IT internship experience.
• Knowledge of existing, new, and emerging technologies related to software development.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products offerings, including Visio.
• Some basic knowledge of database design and development.
DESIRED
• Master’s in computer science, Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Degree or diploma in Business Management.
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-BA certification.
• Experience in wring SQL queries is a plus.
• Professional commitment to high quality, and a passion for learning new skills.
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn new concepts and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including providing simple solutions to complex situations.
• Must be a strong team player with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a geographically disperse working environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with advanced proficiencies and experience speaking with international customers is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal skills and independent time management skills.
This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.
