Job Title: Electrical Wireman
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Wireman for a full-time position on the 1st shift, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, in Louisville, OH. The successful candidate will perform point-to-point wiring for various electrical components including current transformers, control wiring, circuits, relays, breakers, and switches, using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform point-to-point wiring of current transformers, control wiring, circuits, relays, breakers, bussing, and switches.
• Utilize hand and power tools to assemble electrical units.
• Secure lug nuts on the end of wires and use screwdrivers to tighten wires to connectors.
• Utilize splicers and crimping tools to cut and piece wires together.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or work instructions to perform wiring assemblies.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electrical wiring, including point-to-point wiring and 120v electric.
• Familiarity with wiring of current transformers, circuits, relays, breakers, and switches.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, both AC and DC.
• Proficiency with electrical tools.
• Attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with assembly, electrical assembly, and electronic assembly.
• Understanding of wiring diagrams, switchgear, bussing, data cooling, and panel wiring.
• Experience in a similar industry such as switchgear.
• Mechanical skills and blueprint reading are nice to have.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
