Job Summary:

The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of distribution center operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role ensures efficient workflows, high safety standards, accurate inventory control, and strong team performance to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction levels.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily distribution operations, ensuring timely and accurate order processing and shipments.
• Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff to achieve performance, safety, and quality goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
• Manage inventory control processes including cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with supply chain, transportation, and customer service teams to optimize distribution flow.
• Manage budgets, labor planning, and resource allocation effectively.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to oversee inventory and workflow tracking.

Qualifications:

• Minimum five (5) years of warehouse or distribution management experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with WMS, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Ideally, specific experience with Blue Yonder WMS.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as required.

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced distribution center environment with exposure to warehouse equipment, noise, and variable temperatures.

The hiring range for this position based in New Berlin, Wisconsin is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.
