The Person:
Technician is responsible for the deployment of NPI engineering projects involving Client IP (Silicon, HW, SW) and debug of Client server hardware infrastructure.
Required Skills: Rack , Stack , Server, Hardware Infrastructure, CompTIA Certification, Data Center, Networking.
Responsibilities:
• Rack and stack server across Datacenter environment.
• Maintain power and network cable standard per defined Client Datacenter guidelines.
• Maintain inventory of assets and lab infrastructure across programs.
• Engage with internal stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities.
• Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program.
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral
• High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in areas of data center system deployment and asset management.
• Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking
• Ability to function independently with little direct supervision.
• Should be able to travel on short notices.
• Physical Requirements – Candidate needs to be able to lift 50lbs and be flexible enough to get under a raised floor as needed.
EDUCATION:
• 1+ years’ experience in high tech industry
• Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Skilled in MS Office tool suites, Confluence, MS SharePoint
