What You Will Do
- Analyze supply chain and operations data to uncover patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development of predictive models (e.g., demand forecasting, inventory optimization) and prescriptive analytics (e.g., scenario planning, decision support).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Contribute to the design of scalable analytics tools and dashboards that drive operational excellence.
How You Will Do It - Using tools such as Python, Palantir, Microsoft Fabric and Excel to build models, visualizations, and alerts that inform supply chain decisions.
- Applying statistical and machine learning techniques to real-world datasets to support forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization.
- Documenting methodologies and findings to ensure transparency and enable future enhancements.
- Working alongside experienced data scientists and analysts to learn best practices in model development, validation, and deployment.
What We Look For - Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, IT, or Computer Science.
- Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer
- Duration: Summer 2026. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.
- Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship – must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions, with the option to work in the office. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
