Credentialing Specialist – Temp to Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday (No weekends)

Pay: $19/hour starting pay with raise & bonus potential upon conversion

We are seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and at least 2 years of credentialing or related administrative experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and process credentialing documentation accurately and efficiently
• Communicate directly with providers, facilities, and licensing boards to obtain necessary verifications and information
• Draft correspondence and maintain credentialing records
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and deadlines

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of credentialing, compliance, or administrative experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Visual acuity sufficient to read documents and work on a computer
