Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams in understanding and enhancing the cloud IT landscape and infrastructure. This role involves deploying and managing cloud resources, identifying and resolving vulnerabilities, and contributing to automation efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud security, governance, compliance, and DevSecOps tooling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Security, Network, DevSecOps, and Compliance teams to assess and improve cloud infrastructure.
2. Deploy and manage cloud resources on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
3. Regularly review existing cloud systems and recommend improvements.
4. Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud services and infrastructure.
6. Develop reusable automation scripts, libraries, services, and tools to enhance system efficiencies.
7. Provide hands-on and consultative support, including provisioning resources and modifying cloud environments.

Required Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
2. Experience ensuring adherence to security, governance, and compliance.
3. Advanced knowledge of cloud security frameworks and tooling.
4. Strong experience in cloud infrastructure setup and tooling (e.g., Terraform, Azure resource creation).
5. Proficiency in programming, scripting, and automation (e.g., GO, Python, PowerShell).
6. Experience with DevSecOps tooling for application build and release.
7. Understanding of Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls and Prisma Cloud.
8. Ability to broker solutions across teams and leadership.
9. Strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Certifications

1. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure.
