Job Details Are you a visionary finance leader with a passion for social justice and a commitment to serving underserved communities? Join our nonprofit organization as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and drive our financial strategy and operations with your expertise and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial operations, including planning, budgeting, and treasury functions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Advise the CEO and Board on financial strategies and risks.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and asset management.
- Develop and implement annual budgets.
- Oversee risk management and insurance coverage.
- Foster a collaborative and ethical culture within the finance team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in senior financial management, preferably in a nonprofit.
- Extensive knowledge of non-profit accounting and financial management principles.
- Proven leadership ability and excellent communication skills.
- Master’s Degree or CPA preferred.
