Job Description

Join Our Team as a Blog & Web Copy Writer!

Do you love dark history, true crime, ghost stories, and the unexplained? We’re looking for talented writers and editors to help create spine-tingling blogs and tour content for haunted locations across the country.

As a Blog & Web Copy Writer, you’ll bring haunted history to life—writing immersive stories about infamous hauntings and producing polished web copy that draws thrill-seekers to our tours. Your words will shape our brand’s voice and captivate audiences nationwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Write & Edit: Craft engaging ghost stories, dark history, and true crime narratives, plus high-converting web copy.

  • Research: Dig into the history and hauntings of each city to ensure accuracy and authenticity.

  • Collaborate: Work with our senior editor and project lead to keep content sharp and consistent.

  • Stay Organized: Use Google Docs to track edits, manage workflow, and meet deadlines.

  • Multi-task: Balance multiple projects and switch easily between storytelling and marketing copy.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2+ years as a copywriter, editor, or similar role.

  • Creativity: Strong storytelling skills and a passion for haunted history, true crime, and the supernatural.

  • Detail-Oriented: Sharp eye for grammar, clarity, and flow.

  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working in Google Suite, especially Google Docs.

  • Collaborative: Open to feedback and able to work closely with the team.

  • Deadline-Driven: Excellent time management and communication skills.

Why Work With Us?
This project runs 3–6 months, with the potential to extend. You’ll get to blend history, ghost stories, and true crime into content that excites and engages readers.

Ready to Make History (and Ghost Stories)?
If writing about haunted places and eerie history excites you, we’d love to hear from you! Submit your proposal with at least 3 relevant writing samples (more is even better).

Note: Must be available 10–15 hours per week for the next 90 days. Please apply only if you can commit.
