About the Role: The Art of Exceptional Service As a Banquet Server , you'll be the heart of Palma Ceia's events, delivering impeccable service while creating memorable experiences for members and their guests. Whether it's an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, your dedication to top-notch service and your ability to anticipate needs will ensure every occasion is flawless. This dynamic role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, love interacting with people, and have a passion for hospitality excellence. Your Key Ingredients (Essential Duties):

• Kick off every event like a pro, attending roll call meetings and completing opening setup tasks.
• Greet and welcome members and guests with warmth, delivering attentive and friendly service throughout the event.
• Skillfully serve beverages and meals in perfect order and timing, from pouring wine to refilling coffee.
• Maintain a spotless work area, both front and back of house.
• Assist with event closing tasks, from clearing tables to removing linens and busing glasses.
• Ensure compliance with all club policies and state/local regulations for the service of alcoholic beverages.
• Collaborate with management and the kitchen to address special dietary requests and instructions.
• Be a team player-jump in to assist with special events and additional tasks when needed.
• Stay polished and professional, adhering to uniform and appearance standards.

Physical Demands:

• Stay active and on your feet-walking, standing, and moving for extended periods.
• Lift and carry trays up to 30 lbs comfortably (and occasionally up to 50 lbs).
• Tackle repetitive motions like kneeling, bending, and crouching with ease.
• Adapt to the dynamic flow of events, bringing energy and precision to every task.

Working Conditions: Working conditions will vary between indoor and outdoor settings, depending on the assigned dining area. Flexibility and adaptability to changing environments are essential. What You Bring to the Table (Minimum Qualifications):

• At least 18 years old, meeting Florida's legal age to serve alcohol.
• Three to six months of customer service experience or equivalent training.
• Willingness to obtain ANSI Florida Food Handler and Florida Responsible Vendor Server Training certifications within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with fine dining or upscale restaurant environments.
