Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Part-Time Athletic Trainer to join our team. This position is designed for individuals with a passion for sports medicine and helping athletes perform at their best. The successful candidate will provide athletic training services, including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletes of all ages and skill levels. This is a part-time hourly position with flexible hours ranging from 20-25 hours per week with a focus primarily on evening clinic support and weekend home event coverage

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each of the below duties satisfactorily:

• Provide injury prevention, assessment, and treatment to athletes during practices, games, or events.
• Administer first aid and emergency care as needed.
• Develop and implement rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
• Collaborate with coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to monitor and improve athletes' health and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of athlete injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progress.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for practices and events.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related field.
• Certification from the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Knowledge of injury prevention, assessment, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with athletes, coaches, and medical staff. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on the sports schedule

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry athletic equipment (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to stand for long periods, kneel, and move quickly in response to injury situations.
• Willingness to work in outdoor and indoor environments, depending on the sports setting.

Part Time Staff, Non-Exempt

$35.00/hr
