Additional departmental information can be found at: Position Summary Oregon Tech is accepting applications for Anthropology undergraduate Adjunct Instructors for the Humanities and Social Sciences ( HSS ) Department. The Humanities and Social Sciences Department is recruiting a pool of adjunct instructors for possible part-time teaching positions to support the department’s General Education courses. Specifically, the department seeks adjunct instructors to teach: Globalization, Cultural Anthropology, Physical Anthropology and/or Archeology. Qualified applicants may be invited to serve as adjunct instructors for courses within the department. Teaching Modality: Appointments may include courses offered on-line, in-person on-campus, hybrid, or related lab; or in an alternative format responsive to state and local requirements. Location: The primary campus locations include the Klamath Falls campus, the Portland-Metro campus (located in Wilsonville, OR), and online. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online, within the United States. Experience teaching at the college level. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis at the time of hire; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or other employment-based immigration support. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard). Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams.
