Friends’ Planting Day

Come along and help the Friends of Lake Claremont (FOLC) enhance Lake Claremont. The FOLC are proud to be leading one of the largest ongoing restoration projects in Perth. Only local native trees and shrubs are being planted to provide habitat for the local wildlife like insects, frogs, skinks and birds.

The FOLC set a big target on all of our public planting sessions: to plant at least 2000 local native seedlings. We can accommodate up to 100 volunteers, so why not bring a friend!

The session runs for 3 hours in the morning, 9am to 12pm, but you can stay for as long as you like.

Meet at 9:00 am on the east side of Lake Claremont. Walk in 200m from the west end of Lapsley Road. Look for the FOLC yellow flag.

Please wear closed in shoes and be prepared for rain. Gloves, tools and instruction are provided. We also serve up a free tea and refreshments. Families welcome.

This event will not be run in 2020
