Friends of Lake Claremont are proud to participate as a registered site for Clean Up Australia Day. Every year FOLC volunteers, with the help of the public, gather to clean up the lake and parkland. In 2012 volunteers collect around 200kg of rubbish. Everything from car tyres to golf balls was collected, as well as general litter such as bottles and cans.

Clean Up Australia Day is Australia’s largest community based environmental event. All members of the public are welcome to join us. To register to participate please follow the link below
