Environmental weeds: past, present and future

The Forum will consider what has been achieved in the field of environmental weed management over the last two decades, what current responses are and what opportunities can be seen in the future.

Speakers include respected authorities from government agencies, the community and non-government organisations.  These include Greg Keighery and Kate Brown from Department of Parks and Wildlife, Jon Dodd from Department of Agriculture and Food, Mary Gray from the Urban Bushland Council and a speaker from Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority.  We are also pleased to confirm that Chris Ferreira, Director of the Forever Project, will speak.

We will ask participants to contribute to discussion of what practical measures we can all take to maximise those future opportunities in the interests of maintaining Western Australia’s magnificent biodiversity heritage.
